What’s Going On Here?

on.uvu.edu is a test pilot project to provide a campus-wide community publishing platform for Utah Valley University faculty, students, staff, clubs, and organizations.

on.uvu.edu uses the popular WordPress mu platform. While WPmu is primarily used for blogging, exemplary projects like Jim Groom’s UMW Blogs community have shown its potential to be much, much greater.

For instance, you can use on.uvu.edu to create a:

  • personal blog
  • portfolio
  • class blog
  • group project
  • club web site
  • class web site

.. and more!

Participation during the pilot phase is invitation only. If you’d like to participate in the pilot, please contact Jared Stein, Director of Instructional Design Services at UVU.

In the coming months we will be adding custom themes and plug-ins to on.uvu.edu in order to maximize its flexibility and possibilities for the UVU community.

on.uvu.edu requires that you have an account to create a new blog, portfolio, or site.

Got an account? Create a site!

Don’t have an account? Please be patient while we work on integrating on.uvu.edu with UVU’s UVLink system.
